Featuring work by 69 up and coming international artists and curated by Arthouse Collective STIMULUS LTD, vital and energised, intriguing and beautiful, BIG DEAL – BOTOXED 69 highlights our obsession with consumer culture and presents us with an opportunity to titilate and poke fun at ourselves, whilst taking the serious point on board. Revealing contemporary life that is permanently influenced, fractured, incessantly driven and ultimately destroyed by mass consumption, advertising, technology and media spectacle, it features artworks in various media including photography, sculpture, text, film and performance. Those surreal and fleeting moments, their placement in the era of the post informational society and credit crunch time, immaculately capture the zeitgeist of life in London today, and bring together a diverse group of artists in an exciting new format.
